Ambassador Ahmed Al-Hasani, President of the Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting, accompanied by Dr Saad Al-Awsi, head of the Iraq branch, held a series of productive meetings with the Minister of the Interior, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and the National Security Adviser, Dr Qasim Al-Araji. The discussions covered the Union’s awareness work on criminal investigation, the forgery of documents and currency, deepfakes and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and many other topics relevant to the Union’s activities across the Arab world.
