The Union hosts its iftar on the banks of the Nile at San Giovanni

In the presence of the President of the Council of Arab Economic Unity and a number of public figures, the Union hosted its iftar on the banks of the Nile.

Ambassador Ahmed Abbas Al-Hasani, President of the Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting, hosted the Union’s iftar on the banks of the Nile at San Giovanni in Cairo, in the presence of Ambassador Mohammadi Al-Ni, President of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, and a number of public figures, members of parliament, business leaders, media figures and journalists.

Welcoming the guests, Ambassador Al-Hasani said the Union coordinates between its members, looks after their interests in combating forgery and counterfeiting, strengthens the bonds between them and contributes to economic integration and trade between the Arab countries, and announced that several events would soon be held across the Arab world. Dr Abeer El-Essawy, Secretary-General, and Counsellor Hassan Mohamed, Vice-President, reviewed recent achievements, including the opening of four regional offices and the cooperation protocol signed with the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).
