The Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting signs a cooperation protocol with the National Accreditation Council.

Ambassador Ahmed Abbas Al-Hasani, President of the Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting, signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) at the Union’s headquarters in New Cairo. The agreement covers joint training, conferences and the exchange of expertise in the field of forgery and counterfeiting.

The Union and EGAC will work together to deliver and accredit the training courses the Union is preparing for the Arab world, including specialised programmes on anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering that lead to international certification. EGAC is Egypt’s national accreditation body under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
