باڵیۆز ئەحمەد عەباس ئەلحەسەنی، سەرۆکی یەکێتی، لەگەڵ ئەنجومەنی میسری متمانەپێدان (EGAC) پرۆتۆکۆلێکی واژۆ کرد کە ڕاهێنان و کۆنفرانس و ئاڵوگۆڕی شارەزایی لە بواری بەرەنگاربوونەوەی ساختەکاری دەگرێتەوە.
Ambassador Ahmed Abbas Al-Hasani, President of the Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting, signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) at the Union’s headquarters in New Cairo. The agreement covers joint training, conferences and the exchange of expertise in the field of forgery and counterfeiting.
The protocol reflects the Union’s commitment to joining forces with, and supporting, everyone working against forgery and counterfeiting at the local, Arab and international levels: by strengthening training and scientific capacity, developing the relevant professional skills, and contributing to the Union’s plan for combating forgery and counterfeiting crimes.
Ambassador Al-Hasani explained that the two organisations will work together to deliver and accredit the training courses the Union is about to announce across the Arab world. Fighting corruption, money laundering and forgery has become one of the top priorities of Arab governments, he said, and Arab states are keen to reduce the losses these crimes cause. The Union is therefore preparing a set of specialised training packages, including courses on anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering that lead to international certification.
EGAC is the sole national body in Egypt responsible for assessing and accrediting conformity-assessment bodies, including testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies for quality-management systems, products, persons and halal, medical and forensic laboratories and biobanks. It is a non-profit government body under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
